Winners of the Octopus Energy Zero Bills Awards 'Small Housebuilder of the Year'

This recognition is a huge moment for our entire team. It reflects the years of work we’ve put into designing and building homes that don’t just reduce emissions, they eliminate them. Homes that deliver zero home energy bills, zero carbon emissions, and zero compromise.

Our partnership with Octopus Energy has helped us deliver on this mission at scale. From our pioneering Zero Bills development in Exeter to upcoming sites in Cornwall, Somerset and beyond, we’re proving that sustainable housing is not only achievable, it’s necessary.

Our partners Planet A were also recognised on the night with a Zero Bills Certified Assessor Partners accreditation, one of only two companies based in England to receive this award.

The awards night was a fantastic celebration of innovation across the industry. We were honoured to stand alongside forward-thinking housebuilders like Thakeham, Hopkins Homes, Tilia Homes, Hill Group UK, and Vistry Group, all of whom are playing their part in reshaping the future of UK housing.

We’d like to thank the entire team at Octopus for a brilliant event and for continuing to lead the charge on sustainable energy in the homebuilding sector.

To our team, thank you. Your relentless focus on quality, performance, and purpose is what makes Verto what it is today.

And to our customers, partners, and supporters, we’re just getting started.
