Buying Guide
The Verto Buying Process
Your Journey to Zero
We know buying a home is a major milestone, but with our streamlined process and expert team by your side, we’ll make it as smooth and exciting as it should be. Here’s how we guide you through the journey to owning your Verto home:

1. Meeting Your Verto Representative
From the very beginning, you’ll be appointed a dedicated sales agent. They’ll guide you through the entire process, recommending independent mortgage brokers, financial advisors, and conveyancers to make things simple and stress-free.

2. Finance Options
You will need to evaluate what you can afford. What's your budget, mortgage options, and you'll need to obtain an agreement in principle—ensuring you’re ready to reserve your new Verto home.

3. Selecting Your Home
Whether you dream of coastal living or a city home, we have beautiful locations for every lifestyle. Your Verto representative will help you explore floor plans, site plans, and specifications to find your perfect fit.

4. Arranging a Site Visit
Once you’ve chosen your home, we’ll arrange a visit to the site, where you can see your future home come to life and get a feel for the community.

5. Selling Your Existing Property
If you’re a homeowner, you’ll need a buyer for your current home before finalising your reservation. Our Assisted Move and Part Exchange schemes can help make this step easier.

6. Reserving and Personalising Your Home
Ready to make it official? Once you’ve reserved your home, we’ll walk you through any personalisation or upgrade options available, so your new home feels like yours from day one.

7. Applying for a Mortgage
With your home reserved, it’s time to submit your mortgage application and ensure the financial details are ready for completion.

8. Appointing a Solicitor
You’ll need a solicitor to handle the legal conveyancing and ensure your home is legally transferred to you. We can recommend trusted partners to help keep the process smooth.

9. Exchange of Contracts
This is the moment when it’s official! You’ll pay your deposit and prepare to settle the balance on completion. We’ll provide regular updates on your home’s progress as the build moves forward.

10. Getting Ready to Move
With the legal details handled, it’s time to prepare for your move. We’ll give you plenty of notice for your completion date, so you can arrange removals and notify contacts of your new address.

11. Moving In
It’s the day you’ve been waiting for. Once final payment is received, your contract is completed, and you’ll get the keys to your Zero Carbon Smart Home™.

13. Premium Aftercare
Your journey doesn’t end when you move in. Our dedicated aftercare team is available to support you with any questions, while our 10-year warranty ensures you’re protected.

14. Consumer Code Protection
We follow the Consumer Code for Home Builders, ensuring the buying process is fair, transparent, and built around your needs.
